Maxi taxi bookings for groups in Sydney
Request a larger vehicle when a sedan will not fit the group or the luggage. Maxi takes up to 7 passengers, and an 11 seater can be requested for larger groups.

Set the passenger count. From 5 passengers the form moves you to Maxi automatically, and from 8 to the 11 seater, so you cannot pick a vehicle that is too small.

Availability
- Booking requests can be sent at any time. Dispatch confirmation depends on availability.
- The 11 seater is a request only. Availability is confirmed by dispatch, not at the moment you submit the form.
- Larger vehicles are in shorter supply than sedans, so booking ahead gives dispatch more to work with.
- Submitting the form sends a booking request. It is not an accepted ride until dispatch confirms it, and a fare estimate does not guarantee that a driver is available.
Fares and payment
Maxi and 11 seater trips are priced from the same formula as any other booking, with a vehicle multiplier for the larger vehicle. Standard trips use a $38 minimum fare; airport trips use the airport minimums.
Extra passengers above the number included with the vehicle add to the fare. The estimate you see before submitting already accounts for the passenger count you entered.
You can pay the driver, use Cabcharge/TTSS, or pay online by card where eligible. A non-cash payment surcharge of up to 5% (incl. GST) may apply. It applies only to website-processed card payments — no website surcharge is added to Pay to Driver or Cabcharge/TTSS.
