Is my booking confirmed as soon as I submit it?
No. Submitting the form sends a booking request. Dispatch reviews it and arranges a licensed driver, and you are told once it is accepted. A fare estimate does not guarantee that a driver is available.
How far in advance can I book?
Up to 90 days. Choose Book for Later and set the pickup date and time, which is always handled in Sydney time including daylight saving.
Is the fare I see the final price?
The figure shown while you fill in the form is an estimated range. You can review the confirmed fare for your route and options before any online payment is authorised.
What are the minimum fares?
A standard booking has a $38 minimum. A recognised airport pickup has a $45 minimum and a recognised airport drop-off $40. An airport pickup also includes an airport pickup toll.
How can I pay?
You can pay the driver, use Cabcharge/TTSS, or pay online by card where eligible. A non-cash payment surcharge of up to 5% (incl. GST) may apply. It applies only to website-processed card payments — no website surcharge is added to Pay to Driver or Cabcharge/TTSS.
Why can't I pay online for my booking?
Card authorisations are time-limited, so online card payment is offered only for pickups within the next six days. For a booking further ahead, choose Pay to Driver or Cabcharge/TTSS.
Can I request a maxi, an 11 seater or a wheelchair accessible taxi?
Yes, all in the same form. Set the passenger count and the form sizes the vehicle for you. Wheelchair accessible vehicles and the 11 seater are requests, with availability confirmed by dispatch rather than at the moment you submit.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
Eligible bookings can be cancelled early from the booking status screen, and any card authorisation is released. See the cancellation and refund policies for the detail, or call us and we can help.
